I generally don’t think you can predict all that much about a team’s chances based on the schedule released in the offseason. Strength of schedule is calculated by opponents winning percentage *last year*, and, given how many teams can reverse their fortunes from one year to the next in the era of mediocrity (*cough* I mean parity), you just can’t say all that much about what a team has in store by looking at how their opponents did last year.
I like that the Skins bye this year comes in the middle of the year. That first stretch, where they play 3 NFC East teams in five weeks, could very well determine the season for them. I predict another 9-7 year (nothing wrong with that considering they have to implement another new offensive system and break in a new coach).
